International Trade Fair Award is to afford suitable recognition to exhibitions or fairs which contribute significantly in the effort to increase US based companies’ benefits. Annually only 1-2 exhibitions from each country are approved. With such award approved, KIBS and US Department of Commerce mutually support in marine association cooperation and KIBS participation.

IFBSO represents the world’s leading boat shows and helps with the development of boat shows and marine trade exhibitions worldwide. Global brands and buyers prefer to attend IFBSO membership exhibitions. KIBS was approved to join the membership for 11 years and in the year of 2014, KIBS obtained platinum membership.

ICOMIA is the international trade association representing the global marine industry since 1966. KIBS secretariat representing Korea joined ICOMIA and attends annual forums to exchange information and strengthens bonding with international marine associations.

KIBS obtained international exhibition certification for continuously 10 years and announced as potentially influential exhibition consecutively for 5 years. KIBS is the only exhibition financially supported by the government among all similar exhibitions in Korea.
